Destiny Worldwide is an independent record label and management company based in Seattle, WA. The company was formed in 2006 around their first album release, “Building Homes From What We’ve Known” by The Scene Aesthetic. Metcalf produced and engineered the record in the company’s recording studio, Destiny Studios, and has since produced material from many other bands. His recent projects include albums and songs by Daphne Loves Derby, Danger Radio, A Change of Pace, Anarbor, Artist Vs Poet, The Real You, Moneta and many more.

Job Description: Monroe, WA based indie record label Destiny Worldwide is looking for interns to work in a variety of capacities at our label. We are a small, independent multimedia company, focusing on merchandise, management and production, and Internet with several major projects continuing throughout the rest of the year and into next. This is an opportunity for someone to get in on the ground floor of a small but growing music business.


Internships are available in the following areas:
· Marketing and promotions
· Online promotion
· Tour Marketing
· Street Teams
· New Media
· Publicity
· Graphic Design
· Film

-Maintain and promote our online content.

-Help build traffic on MySpace, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and YouTube, etc, as well as various terrestrial and Internet radio stations and podcasts, college radio

-Ability to work independently from remote location some of the time.

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Basic computer knowledge is essential along with new media and/or web design skills.

-Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, iMovie, and Photoshop

-Work hours flexible. Looking for 10-15 hrs/week.
