If you haven't already, watch Lady Gaga's video for Alejandro on YouTube now.

This is a LOT different from Telephone--and not in a good way. There's a little too much sex and not enough substance. So, in an attempt to find a deeper meaning to this video (as I was completely stumped), I turned to the great ol' Internet for answers. And what did I get? Diddly squat.

A couple of interns at BlackMag speculate that the video is about her leaving (or stomping on) the Catholic church, but they don't really go into much detail with this theory. There are also some commenters on the Entertainment Weekly website say that since the video was directed by a fashion photographer it is likely completely aesthetic (err.. probably not). Others compare her to Ashanti, who put out three albums in two years (much like Gaga) then fell off the face of the earth. Most don't understand anything about the video but like it anyway.
