May be old news to some, but on March 18th, Apple engineer Gray Powell left his phone, cleverly disguised as an iPhone 3GS, on a bar stool of a German bar in Redwood City, California. Long story short, the guys at Gizmodo got a call about this new "iPhone 4G" and offered to buy this prototype from the man who found it for $5,000, and apparently Apple wants it back.
This is about the right time as Apple has released it's 3 previous iPhones in the June/July months for the AT&T;Carrier. Speaking of which, there's also news that Apple's contract with AT&T;will be over soon, does that mean they'll be staying with AT&T;or switch over to another network like Verizon, or even make it open to all networks?
Is this fake? Is Apple wanting it back proof that it's real? Was this planned to get the hype up about the new iPhone? The Gizmodo guys have a lot to say about why
Apple didn't leak the iPhone.
Hopefully Apple doesn't make Gray Powell's life too much of a living hell, after all, he's just human. Can someone say job opening?
