London :: Day Five & Six

Hey guys. So, let's just say that French is NOT the language of love, but rather the language of pimply teenage boys who attempt to hit on you and smell foul. Whoever said it was were terribly wrong.

Yesterday (since i forgot to write about that), we went to Buckingham Palace, home of Queen Elizabeth. There, we watched the changing of the guard. Not only was that the longest "ceremony" I've watched through a steel gate, it was also the most ridiculous. The band played songs like "Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club" & "With a Little Help from My Friends" by the Beatles and "La Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin. Pretty sure it was the most outrageous ceremony I've been to.

After that, we searched for a museum... but come to find out, it was not there. It was removed a few years ago. BUMMER. But, that left shopping, which left me with only 20 pounds poorer. DARN. (PS. I'll be sure to send you a postcard, Kelly Mason!)

Almost saw Rob Pattinson last night at the premiere of his new movie Remember Me. MAN, I'm sorry, but I think he's super good looking. I love that British dirty look... YUM. Anyways, I was super bummed because, while we were eating dinner at The Rainforest Cafe (which has gluten free options), Rob was in the same general area. SUPER bummed.

Anyways, today I went to Oxford. WOW. Let me tell you. That place makes you just WANT to study. Saw some great places. Went to this church and found out that it's was the place where Alice in Wonderland was inspired from & Harry Potter was partially filmed at. MAN.

After that, ate at a pub again. I am a fan of the food, but that meal was rich. I think i still have heartburn from it. Then, we went around the city of Oxford (which is about an hour outside London)... Things were cute but seemed to go up about 5 pounds than what they were in the city. Though, I almost bought this scarf but it just didn't "feel" right.

Currently, I am sitting here, watching a show about the poor Social Work care of kids in England who aren't treated well in the foster-care system... and they're saying that America's system works but their's doesn't. I couldn't help but laugh... Any thoughts?

Anyways, off to bed. It's real late here.
Stay Classy, RCA.
