Alright, so super suckage on time & whatever for RCA... haven't really checked FB yet. A wee bit nervous bout that. I've come to the conclusion that anyone can be attractive to me if they can speak with an English accent. LET ME TELL YOU, a guy that would be a 5 in America could be a 7 or an 8 if they spoke with an English accent. Personal opinion.
So, i'll break down a bit on what we did each day with my side comments. READY?
London :: Day Two
- Woke up to what seemed like 4 am
- Went to St. Giles' Cathedral, England's oldest church (about 900 years old... ish)
- Found out Milton (author of Paradise Lost) was buried somewhere underneath the church.
- Saw the only standing section of The Roman Wall
- Went to Liverpool Road. Experienced a SUPER cool street market. (also, bought MC Hammer pants... it's all the fashion here.)
- Went to the Museum of London
- Walked across the Wobbly Bridge
London :: Day Three
- Journey'd to Westminister Abbey (LOTS of famous dead people are buried there like Sir Newton, Darwin (WHAT!), Kings & Queens past (Henry V, Elizabeth I, Mary Queen of Scots...))
- Learned that London is COLD but the tea will always make you WARM.
- Went to the Tate art Museum (saw a lot of 'neat' art including teenagers making out... (joke))
- Read a book about how Vogue Magazine has transformed the UK (whoa!)
- Went to Saint Pauls' Cathed. and lost some people in our group.
- Drank really really great coffee.
- Lost someone on the Tube.
- Went to a play called 6 Degrees of Separation (interesting play complete with naked man.)
London :: Day Four
- went to Shakespeare's Globe Theatre (fell in LOVE with Shakespeare once again.)
- Bought a
manga version of Othello
- Ate at the oldest pub in London, George's.
- Lost my waterbottle (/tear.)
- Went to a museum that doesn't exist
- Found a bunch of cute shops instead
- Went back to St. Paul's to listen to Evensong (a "church" service complete with "order of service" where you stand and sit... and repeat latin.)
- I felt like i was in Hogwarts with all the boys singing in uniforms
- Ate at this cute place in Letatus Square (Three course meal: calamari, gilled salmon, creamed spinich, and lemon sorbet... all under 10 pounds (our buget each meal))
Now, i'm sitting here in the "lounge" room that smells of pinto beans and cigerettes wondering WHY I live in America. If I had a choice... what one would I pick? It's so hard. I'm quickly falling in LOVE with this city, the people, and the fashion. I am falling in love with the order and way of life. No one seems to judge. No one seems to mind. You just GO. SO, I'm going to bid you all farwell and I'll try to post more tomorrow. But hey, here's two photos. ENJOY!
STAY CLASSY, rain city ambience.

Part of the crew at St. Paul's, sitting on the steps... "deep" in thought.

Four of us on the Tube on our way to St. Giles'. I'm a bit too goggy before coffee...
