So, I'm sitting here in this hole-in-the-wall hotel called St. Athen's Hotel in London, near Russell Square, and here I sit. I am drained. I did not sleep on the flight, thus making me sort of groggy. The flight wasn't TOO bad... but it sucks being gluten free. When we landed, we went through these train things called the tube. Really cool transportation system London has.
Anyways, I became a fan of British Pubs. Not only are they pretty clean, but they serve pretty dang good food. I had chicken fingers on lettuce... sounds like an awkward salad but it was like the most inventive meal EVER. By the way, the name for "french fries" is
"chips" and the name for "chips" is
"crisps." Boy, did i get confused today.
Then, we went to the London Eye. If you're not familiar with it, check
this out NOW. It'll blow your mind. I am SCARED of heights but some how, I managed. BEST RIDE EVER. It was smooth. It wasn't too crowded. It wasn't loud. I took PLENTY of photos. SO NEAT.
After that, we were famished... so, we ate at this little Italian place (hole-in-the-wall)... and I don't think I've ever been so impressed. I ate a chicken dish with potatoes (couldn't pronounce the name) and drank pomegranate juice. :) WHAT A NIGHT! Plus, got to talk to some neat friends about great subjects worth being passionate about. We saw a lot of street performers... one guy tried to get me to buy his 2 song EP for about $15 American.... uhh- no.
This will probably be my LONGEST entry... and I'm fading after being awake for 31 hours. I just thought i'd let you know, RCA... I MISS YOU GUYS. Anyways, it's almost9 pm here... errr, i mean.... 2100 and I AM IN NEED OF A SHOWER.
Stay classy.
