Apparently the landing page of the site is having serious issues displaying properly on IE 7 all running versions of Internet Explorer (6, 7, and 8).

The 15% of you who visit the site using IE should probably switch to at least Firefox, because Internet Explorer is the worst functioning browser in the history of the universe. I don't need to cite any sources that support this statement, because everybody knows it to be true... well, at least 85% of the people who visit this website using other browsers know it to be true. IE is a programmer's worst nightmare. The coding of this site is beautiful, aside from the "IE HACKS" section that has to be written for every page of CSS to ensure proper functionality with that godawful sorry excuse for a browser.

In order to ensure that I am not here ranting until the sun comes up, here are some other browsers that you can use that won't ruin your life (and this site):

Mozilla Firefox. Duh.
Google Chrome. I recently switched to using Chrome, and I have no complains thus far.
Opera. Never used it, but I hear okay things..
Flock. The social networking fiend's wet dream.

That being said, I have been working with our resident programmer to remedy this IE formatting problem, but we have not figured out a solution yet. Hopefully we will figure out the issue in the next couple of days.
