I am currently listening to Taking Back Sunday's Tell All Your Friends from way back in 2002, and am attempting to come to terms with the fact that I think I like the music I used to listen to better than the music I listen to now. I don't know if it's because this is what got me into this genre of music in the first place or if it really is just better than my current musical choices (this would be a very sad realization), but I do know that it is blowing my mind to a point that I feel the need to blog about it.
Some staple albums of my musical "childhood":
Taking Back Sunday - Tell All Your Friends Brand New - Deja Entendu / Your Favorite Weapon Thrice - The Illusion of Safety Thursday - Full Collapse / War All The Time Rufio - MCMLXXXV The Starting Line - Say It Like You Mean It Name Taken - The Silent Game New Found Glory - Sticks & Stones Yellowcard - One For the Kids
I know I am missing a ton, so it is now up to you to add to my list. Via comment. Go.
What were some of the first albums you bought (because everyone used to buy their music, eh?) that got you into the music you listen to now?
