Is everyone enjoying the Olympics so far? Watching bobsled after bobsled flip over on that icy track has... well, made me want to ride a roller coaster, but it has also scared the living hell out of me. Seeing peoples' heads slide on ice at 90 miles-per-hour sends chills down my spine.
Local speed-skater Apolo Ohno had a couple of intense races tonight, and he took home the bronze medal! Woot woot. I think I heard the announcer say that he now holds more medals than any other winter Olympics athlete, and that this is his third Olympic games. Wow.
Anyway, this post isn't about the Olympics-- it's about my recovered pictures from my Europe trip back in September! Colleen suggested I post them, so I am posting a few of the ones I have edited thus far. They are out of order (e.g. I will be posting pictures from Paris then Versailles, then in the next blog probably have more photos from Paris and Versailles with a few from Belgium thrown in), but I am trying to take my time to make these look presentable.
Enjoy.

My boyfriend, Simon, on a bench in Versailles.

A Parisian apartment building.

The front of Versailles! That gate was a BRILLIANT gold; hopefully this photo and the next capture its intensity.

EIFFEL!

I got excited and edited this one before anything else. This is in an alley in Brussels, Belgium-- a good two or three days after our Paris trip.
That's all for now.. I will post more within the next few days!
