A college student's guide to everything food: PART II

Earlier in the year (and by "year" I mean sometime in 2009) I posted a blog about how much I love food, and the fact that I made it "PART I" meant that I eventually had to make a Part II... So here goes nothing.

As an overloaded college student who would rather go out to eat on the Ave than make myself a balanced meal, I pretty much know the ins and outs of everywhere to eat within a one mile vicinity of my house. Actually, that's not true at all; I eat at the same places as I did when I posted the original blog, but there are a couple I forgot that constitute me posting an entirely new blog. YEAH!

Dante's Inferno Dogs. Yes, this sounds hellish, and YES this man and his hot dog cart are rather elusive, but if you roam the streets of Ballard late enough on Friday or Saturday night you might find him and his tasty hot dogs. This sounds inappropriate, but I am not soliciting anything other than glorious sausages. If you don't get it with cream cheese then you might as well not go at all. Ask for the "Frank Sinatra" if you want to be like me.

Thai 65. This restaurant has replaced Thai Tom in my heart, but I have to up the spice ante to 3 stars if I want my taste buds to be sufficiently satiated. The red curry is amazing.

WoW bubble tea. NO THIS IS NOT WORLD OF WARCRAFT SO KEEP YOUR PANTS ON. WoW (World of Worship... Very religious establishment) makes amazing bubble tea, and you don't have to get tapioca if you are scared of eating little black balls. Just sayin. Try the Pink Lady.

My next food adventure is definitely going to be to Rancho Bravo Taco Truck on 45th Street. I'm kind of scared of any food item that comes out of a truck (exception: ice cream), but I have heard amazing things.

Overrated food item of the century: PHO. LET THE "WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU" COMMENTS BEGIN!

Also, in before "caps lock is cruise control for cool." Trust me, I already know this. WHY DO YOU THINK I USE IT SO OFTEN?
