In Halo terms this phrase would mean 5 downloads in a row without being killed (or shot by the RIAA, which has pretty much been given the ol' axe anyway), but in my terms it means that my iPhone is seriously lacking in the music department and all of my good albums are on my iPod-- which I accidentally left at work. And ALTHOUGH my brand new shiny Macbook Pro is in transit (apparently still in Redding, CA), I thought I would flex my Macbook's downloading muscle just one more time before it is replaced by a better, faster version of itself.

*cue someone using one of those giant hooks to attempt to pull me off the stage*

I am trying to find some classics as well as new downloads, and this is what I have come up with so far:

Los Campesinos! - Romance is Boring. This is a leak. I don't generally endorse leaked albums, but this was too tempting to pass up. LOVE IT.

Brand New - Deja Entendu. Need I say more? I think this is my favorite album of all time.

Vampire Weekend - Contra. Also a leak, but the entire stream is up on their Myspace page. I haven't listened yet, but I hear it is good!

Say Anything - ...Is a Real Boy and ...Was a Real Boy. Two more classics. Woe and Wow, I Can Be Sexual Too are two tracks that keep me coming back for more.

Kesha - Animal. This is one of those albums that I really didn't want to download, but seeing as this chick outsold Lady Gaga I have to see what she is all about. Needless to say, my hopes are not very high.

I might have a downloading running riot later, but my little downloading machine is mad at me. This subject is to be continued...
