During this economically challenging holiday season, there's nothing more calming then a turkey simmering, friends all around, and chesnuts roasting on an open fire. Well, there's no chestnuts here, but there is turkey. Lots of it.

posted a blog about her undying love and dedication for Farmville... or Farm Town. Well, here's my confession... I too have a virtual escape. Yes.
I, Colleen E. Gilfoy, play CafeWorld. I have been certainly quick to make fun of these... virtual world players, especially FarmVille. Well, I am now a believer. I believe in the power of CafeWorld.
Rollin' in the green doing what i do best?
To those who aren't familiar with CafeWorld, you pick a virtual character with a cafe. The more food you make, the more people visit your cafe. The more people to visit your cafe, the more coins you make. The more coins you make, the more experience points you get. With more experience points, you get more and more options for your cafe. You can expand your cafe. You can make it colorful or boring. Downside? Well, each food takes a certain amount of time to prepare and cook. If you don't serve your food when it's ready, it spoils. So, if you want to make money, serve your food!
Sure, go ahead and laugh at my dedication to my virtual response to the recession. This is what i know: CafeWorld is a great distraction. After having surgery last friday during FINALS week, I've been up all hours playing THIS GAME. Now, I am home for a month of break wondering how my cafe will do without my constant attention.
Plus, all this virtual food is making me hungry....
Anyways, I should probably stop being anti-social blabbing about the sanity away from Christmas. Speaking of Christmas, have you finished your shopping? Well, I have not. I have a day.
Merry Christmas.
Happy New Year.
Go play CafeWorld.
