Good afternoon, Seattle!

I'm reporting to you from the offices of a troubled magazine (bad ad sales... ain't in a bitch?) to kick off the fashion blogging at R.C.A. I'll be reporting to you about what New York Fashion Week for the Spring Summer 2010 season is like from the perspective of someone experiencing it for the first time.

Why would you want to hear about Fashion Week someone whose never been? Well I know you've all bummed out in front of the TV watching marathons of America's Next Top Model on VH1 or at least have seen The Devil Wears Prada (don't lie!) -- aren't you the least bit curious about what the biggest fashion event of the year would be like if YOU were there? Well reader, since you and I have so much in common (what with our curiosity and love of marathons and all), I can tell you alllll dat and more. I'll be going to a few shows, making a few observations, and giving you a whole lotta the deetz.

So kick off those Vans/Cheap Mondays I know you're wearing and get comfortable, it's going to be an interesting week.
