Well, ladies and gentlemen, you will not be seeing me around here for a while, as I will be departing Seattle for Europe in approximately 14 hours and have decided not to bring my laptop. Backpacking with a lappy doesn't sound like such a fun time, and there are internet cafes everywhere in Europe, so I think I will survive! I'm going with my boo, Simon, and the tentative plan is to just bring a notebook and attempt to handwrite entries and then type them out at various cafes... buutttt I have no idea if that is going to work out. Hopefully it does. Regardless, I will be taking a crapload of pictures, so be ready for that (or at least pretend to be).

The trip will begin in Paris, which is where we are flying tomorrow morning (sidenote: I guess Paramore is there right now. Should I stalk them? o.O Not.). After Paris is Belgium, then London/Cambridge, and then Barcelona, Spain. I am so excited to see everything, and I hear the Spanish riviera is beautiful. This will be my first trip to Europe, so I really have no idea of what to expect!

I'm cutting this sucker short. If you know of any cool places to go in the countries/cities I am going to, let me know in the comments. I will be checking them periodically, and definitely before I leave in the morning.
