New Pig Cloth Website!

Since everyone and their mother has a clothing store, Aaron Gillespie and his wife Jaime came up with this idea for a clothing company back in 2007 called Pig Cloth. There's a really neat review about them here. I've been wearing Pig Cloth since 2007 because (as you all know) I love Aaron Gillespie. A LOT. They've launched a new website as well, so check that out here. It's cool but just like everyone else.

& another van accident reported...

This morning, Underoath tweeted about how their equipment driver got into a very serious accident. The driver is in some serious pain, but is expected to fully recover. You can see more photos here.

The Underoath dudes brought up a good point. It's getting into the winter season, and weather can change in an instant. If your vehicles aren't winter safe, you could be on a roller rink of death, in a ditch in no time. So, stop and be safe, show goers. You only get to live once.

noma noma noma. Yes, it's Grammy nomination time again. This time around, some of my favorites were noma noma nominated! Paramore was nominated for Best Song In a TV or Movie for the song "Decode". Underoath (my favorite band of all time) was nominated for Best Boxset/Spec. Packaging. Finally, Seattle's own Death Cab For Cutie was nominated for "Best Alternative Music Album". This year, I'll be looking forward to the Grammy Awards.

another band robbed...

Remember how we reported that Mae, Anberlin, and Kill Hannah had stuff (merch, equiptment, ect.) stolen from them in various locations in Pennslyvania? Well, The Right Coast just had everything stolen from... you guess it, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. So, if you believe in the state with brotherly love and quakers, expect to get robbed, that's for sure.

Friday the 13th?

The organization To Write Love On Her Arms will be in NYC (like 20 min from me) tomorrow for a photoshoot with Rolling Stone Mag. I wish i could go, but tolls and lack of transportation hinder that. Maybe i'll jack a bus. It's all for a good cause, right?

Anyways, tomorrow is also To Write Love On Her Arms Day! It's a celebration of the organization TWLOA raising awareness on suicide, depression, and love. Support the day by simply writing the word LOVE on your arm (any language, font, or color!)! Also, wear any shirt that says love or even a TWLOHA shirt!

break ups, commercials, and theift?

.....Armor for Sleep announced last night that they have officially broken up. Frontman Ben Jorgenson wrote ALL his thoughts in a blog. RIP dudes.

... Copeland just blogged (literally like an hour ago) that they will break up after the end of their spring tour in 2010. They said there's no bad blood, they just want to have different lives. Copeland may be releasing an album before their sad goodbye tour.

......Pete Wentz, the bassist from Fall Out Boy, will join Taylor Swift, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo, and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker on the new commercial for the video game Band Hero. Do we not have this game already called Rock Band??? Maybe i'm not geek enough.

....Say Anything's frontman Max Bemin had his wedding ring stolen from him at a show in Cleveland. He is a recent newlywed. Yes, his wife was on the scene when it happened.... lol.

Some good news & some bad news....

Good news:
Canada's own Alexisonfire have announced that they will release a new EP called Dog's Blood. The EP is set for recording this winter after their European tour & will release some time in spring 2010!

Bad news:
"Indefinite hiatus" is called for the He Is Legend crew. They announced this morning that they will be going their seperate ways but are "not broken up". Frontman Schuylar Croom is filling in for Dallas Taylor of Maylene And the Sons Of Disaster on their current tour. Dallas Taylor is currently "taking a break" from MATSOD until November 17, 2009.

well, this is weird.

British hotties Bring Me the Horizon are attempting to remix the WORST album I've (personally) ever heard. Yes, that's right... Suicide Season is being remixed to create Suicide Season - CUT UP! out November 2, 2009 in UK, Australia, & the rest of Europe... USA release date? Some time in 2010, they say. Don't hold your breath, good ol' America. They have a TASTE of what the remixes will sound like up on their myspace now.

On October 6, 2009, Aaron Gillespie (aka my musical love of my life) and the Almost will release 5 tracks EXCLUSIVELY via Hot Topic a MONTH before Monster, Monster (their first full length cd since early 2007.). The EP is in a 2 disc set. Disc one will contain the music, 5 songs off of the LP. Disc two will contain blank cd with Monster Monster's artwork, lyrics and printed track listing on the physical CD.
