Rain City Ambience was started by two high school sophomores who wanted to make a difference in the local music scene. Now, six years later, we still love music and are still going strong with a staff of over 15 music-and-art-loving individuals (and are always looking for more people to help out!).

You will find endless amounts of blogs, reviews, interviews, and articles on raincityambience.com, so pull up a chair (that's kind of a metaphor) and stay awhile.

If you think you would be an asset to our team, then we want to hear from you. There are a lot of opportunities available for those those are interested. If you are interested in writing reviews, interviewing bands (and getting into shows for free), or taking photos for Rain City Ambience, just shoot us an email. Tell us exactly what you want to do, and--if you want to write reviews and/or articles--send an example of your writing. We have a lot of mail to go through, so the more concise the better.

We are especially interested in people who can perform the following tasks:

Keep the music page lookin' fly. This includes posting relevant music news. You don't need to update 5 times a day, but we want you to stay on the lookout for local artists (and even national acts of interest) to keep our news feed lookin' fresh. 'Cause we all know it's slacking right now.

Cover shows to appease a variety of crowds. You have to like ALL kinds of music for this one. Do we need someone to cover All Time Low? There you are. How about A Day to Remember? Oh, you again! How about an awesome local hip hop artist? Yep. You're catching on quickly.
