About Us

Rain City Ambience was started by two high school sophomores who wanted to make a difference in the local music scene. Now, five years later, we still love music and are still going strong with a staff of over 15 music-and-art-loving individuals (and are always looking for more people to help out!).

You will find endless amounts of blogs, reviews, interviews, and articles on raincityambience.com, so pull up a chair (that's kind of a metaphor) and stay awhile.

Get Involved

If you think you would be an asset to our team, then we want to hear from you. There are a lot of opportunities available for those those are interested. If you are interesting in writing reviews, interviewing bands (and getting into shows for free), or taking photos for Rain City Ambience, just shoot us an email and we will see what we can work out.

Remember, we are not only looking for people to perform the aforementioned tasks, so if you have another talent and want to help us out then we definitely want to hear from you. Help us make the Seattle music scene flourish!

Is Rain City Ambience a band?
Definitely not. A few of our staff members are in bands, though

Will Rain City Ambience work with my band?
Probably. Shoot us an email or look us up on Myspace and we'll talk.

Will you help us book a show in Seattle?
Again, shoot us an email and maybe we can help you out. Keep in mind that you can't expect us to work miracles if you only give us two weeks' notice, but we will try our best to help anybody out- even if we just end up promoting your show for you.

What does it take to get involved with RCA?
Rain City Ambience are specifically looking for people with a passion for music and a drive to make a difference in the local music scene. If you are a photographer, writer, or just a fan who wants to get more involved, email us and we will see if you are a match for our team!
