Rather than doing a list of top albums, bands, songs, etc. for the end of the year, I'm flipping it around kind of. There isn't much to choose from, so it's not much of a top favorite list as it is a what's new list.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Too much work and too little play. Ryan Kam is just about done with my video for Hunters "Lover At Best." And it's looking sick so far! I woke up with the worst headache this morning. I've been sitting around trying to find some relaxing piano music all day. And alas, I've found something truly beautiful.

My favorite band of the day is: Danny the Champion Of The World.

With crazy Converge-esque guitar riffs and a hint of Mewithoutyou on the vocals (listen to God Oh God), this four piece is bound to turn heads. They have a video coming soon, it will be posted here on RCA when the time comes.

It has yet to be officially stated, but our (remaining) boys in On The Last Day have called it quits for the band as a whole. As you may or may not know, Carson Allen started a side project not too long ago, Me Vs. Myself. This new band is no longer a side project but a full time gig. Carson decided to leave OTLD and purse Me Vs. Myself.

Hi all. I've had a very long weekend shooting my music video for "Lover At Best." It sounds way official saying that, but in no means am I trying to be official sounding.



The video is being directed by Ryan Kam and it should be incredible. Way better than Hunters music even deserves. But it's a good time for us both. There will be some surprise faces in the video in which you're all probably familiar with. A friend of mine agreed to "co-star" in it and I thank him dearly for doing so.

I ended up not going to Warped Tour this year due to poor planning and various other reasons. My friend Chris sent me a picture of the sunset at the Gorge and I wanted to kill babies out of A) Furiousity and B) Sunsets make me want to kill babies on occasion, don't judge me though. The ever so popular Seattle Tattoo Expo is this weekend. August 7-9th at the Seattle Center. I've never been but I'd imagine it to be fun. Who doesn't want to go get tattooed by some of the best artists in the country?

Who wants to get matching tattoos? Omgz. Or how about RCA tattoos. Let's all go get RCA tattoos!

Or not. But anyway, tattoo expo, this weekend, fun stuff. If you've been thinking about going to get a tattoo, this is your chance. There's going to be a ton of bands playing, so that alone is worth checking out.

So I listened to Anchor & Braille when Stephen Christian (of Anberlin) first set out to do a side project. I wasn't that excited about it, being a fan of Anberlin and all. However, he's been working on a new album due to hit stores on August 4th, and so far I am in love with it! Go listen to his songs here.

I am finally up to date on the worlds techbological craze known as the "smart phone." All I can say is this shit is bananas. Matter of fact I am in my biology class right now posting a damn blog entry to rca. How sweet is that? Anyway its lab time, but I plan on writing more on the current world of technology in a matter of days. Much love.

I don't understand how I can sleep for 3 hours a night, wake up, and not be able to sleep at all after that. It saddens me, it really does. Hopefully this will change soon!
