New Still Life Still video

The dudes of Still Life Still have released a video for one of their (only) nonsexual songs, and it's on AOL video now.

Be sure to read our review of Still Life Still's album Girls Come Too (see what I mean about sexual?).

Also, the band will be playing a show at Chop Suey THIS SUNDAY (Valentine's Day) with Wild Beasts, who I have not heard, but their name is pretty sweet so I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one.

New Casual Industrees tee available now.

Casual Industrees are a clothing company based out of Seattle (a garage on Alki would be a little more specific), and all of their designs are related to the northwest. Check out their website to see what Casual Industrees is about.

In honor of the Seattle Supersonics being relocated to other, less exciting cities, Casual has just released this t-shirt:

I think the design is pretty self-explanatory. Order now before it sells out!

Less Avenged needs monkeys!

Oh, I'm sorry, I misquoted; Less Avenged needs code monkeys to add to their development team. It's an "on-site, full time salaried position. 40 hrs/wk with great benefits" located in Pioneer Square.. Who wouldn't want to work there?

Internship positions are also available, so even if you don't know JavaScript, PHP, or MySql (or how to make the perfect Jack and Coke, apparently), you might still have a shot.

If you are unfamiliar with Less Avenged check out their website-- or our website, for that matter, because they designed the page…

Go get "tatted" son!

The ever so popular Seattle Tattoo Expo is this weekend. August 7-9th at the Seattle Center. I've never been but I'd imagine it to be fun. Who doesn't want to go get tattooed by some of the best artists in the country?

Who wants to get matching tattoos? Omgz. Or how about RCA tattoos. Let's all go get RCA tattoos!

Or not. But anyway, tattoo expo, this weekend, fun stuff. If you've been thinking about going to get a tattoo, this is your chance. There's going to be a ton of bands playing, so that alone is worth checking out.

Bite of Seattle!

There's nothing that excites me more than eating (I have a sweet blog coming up that is also related to food), so there should be no reason for me to not go to the Bite of Seattle this weekend, right?!

WRONG.

Turns out I have/had to work all weekend, and the only way I am going to get to go chow down on some delicious/expensive treats is if I get up at 8, take the light rail to Seattle (it opened today), eat, leave, then drive to work by noon. Considering it is already 1 o'clock in the morning and…

Folklife! Plus a weekend full of awesome.

There's really no place I would have rather been than at Sasquatch this weekend, but seeing as I couldn't convince myself to cough up the money until a week before the event (and I didn't want to request a press pass until the new site was up- at which point it was too late to even ask... though I did anyway and got denied), I was not able to attend. Fortunately for me, Memorial Day weekend is never dull in Seattle, and to replace the void that was created by the lack of Sasquatch-age, I went to Folklife (and Pike…
