Surprise! Hide & Seek Clothing secretly release new line.

Those sneaky bast--I mean our friends over at Hide & Seek Clothing decided to do things a little differently this season by secretly releasing both a lookbook video (shown above) and a new line in the matter of only a couple of days. Seriously--I knew about the launch the day before, and it still took me until now to write about it. That's how astounded I was. Or maybe I have just been so swamped with work and school that RCA has been but a figment of my imagination. Who knows?

In all seriousness,…

Hide & Seek Clothing is taking steps to help as much as possible by printing the shirt shown above and generously donating 100% of profits to: Save the Children: Emergency Response, Japan Earthquake & Tsunami Relief Fund: A GlobalGiving Project, Hands on Tokyo, and the American Red Cross.

Make sure you snag a shirt in the pre-order--this is the second replenishment, and they will undoubtedly…

Hide & Seek Sneak Peak (Round 3!)

Happy Monday, day-after-Halloween, and first day of November, everybody! I spent the past three days not celebrating Halloween so I could study for a midterm, but hopefully you all had a wonderful weekend.

Here is the third and final preview of Hide & Seek Clothing's winter collection. The hoodie and cardigan might be my two favorite products in the entire line, with the camera tee from the first round coming in at a close third. I'm a sucker for anything with a camera design on it--but I'm even more of a sucker for American Apparel…

Hide & Seek Sneak Peak (Round 2)

First off, we need to discuss the number of rhyming words in the title of this blog post. There are three.

Moving on.

As promised, here is the second preview of Hide & Seek Clothing's winter collection. "These all need to be in my life," Kelly says while wearing her Deer Acid Wash Deep V-Neck T-shirt.

Byron McKoy, the owner/designer/mastermind behind Hide & Seek, has been printing on more and more Alternative Apparel pieces these past few lines, and I think it's safe to say that most of these items are softer than…

EXCLUSIVE sneak peak of Hide & Seek Clothing's upcoming line

Hide & Seek Clothing is releasing their winter collection on November 3rd, and Rain City Ambience (that's us!) has the privilege of giving you the first look of the entire line before launch. This is our first of three blogs, and each preview is a little more badass than the last.

I don't want to give too much away, but I can assure you that this line is Hide & Seek's best yet. We are most excited about the new hoodies and cardigans--I mean come on, we're from Seattle. Can you blame us? The rest…

Get your This Providence Nostalgic Pack before it's too late!

Seattle-based This Providence have been signed to Fueled by Ramen since 2006, so I guess now is the perfect time to release a Nostalgic Pack of a few pieces of timeless merchandise. In the pack you will find one hoodie (American Apparel shown above, ooh), a tote bag, and your choice of one of the three CDs that the band has released while on FBR. The pack is $45, and the offer expires on August 18th at 10:00AM.

Marketing in the music industry has gotten very creative over these past couple of years. It's pretty sad that…

New GLAMOUR KILLS fall line out now!

I know how much all you music fashionistas and fashionistos love looking *fly*, which is why I always try to post blogs after popular band-related clothing brands launch their newest lines. Glamour Kills has released their "exist"-themed fall line with 50+ new items for both men and women. Some of the designs, I must admit, are a little cheesy, but there are also a few gems that I might feeling okay wearing in public.

...and since GK doesn't let you embed images from their server (and I'm not on my own computer right now so I can't host them on…

New Casual Industrees tee available now.

Casual Industrees are a clothing company based out of Seattle (a garage on Alki would be a little more specific), and all of their designs are related to the northwest. Check out their website to see what Casual Industrees is about.

In honor of the Seattle Supersonics being relocated to other, less exciting cities, Casual has just released this t-shirt:

I think the design is pretty self-explanatory. Order now before it sells out!

Krochet Kids are going... Zumiez?

The past week has been a confusing one for me, the unfortunate Zumiez employee, who opens freight boxes hoping not to be surprised with a shipment of Ed Hardy or Affliction (Sidenote: This has yet to happen at my store, but I hear Alderwood Mall is a different story). Lately, though, I have been pleasantly surprised with the new things that have come in: Glamour Kills' new line, as well as a ton of breast cancer awareness merch, Spacecraft, Casual Industrees, etc.

AND NOW WE HAVE KROCHET KIDS.

Backstory: I met Kohl Crecelius (one of the founders of KK)…
