New VersaEmerge video for 'Fixed at Zero'

Florida trio VersaEmerge (sheesh, I remember when there were five people in that band) have released their video for Fixed at Zero, and.. uhh.. does this song/video remind anyone else reminded of Evanescence? I'll leave it up to you to watch some old music videos on YouTube (there are a lot), because it's really not important enough to spend the time posting all the resemblances here... I mean COME ON, it's like 80 degrees outside! I'm just saying that I felt a sense of deja vu watching Fixed at Zero, and I have a feeling I'm not…

Anberlin releases 'Impossible' music video; Kelly is left mesmerized

How's that for a blog title?

Now for something that everyone can be excited about: Anberlin news!.

The guys have just released their video for Impossible, which you can watch on MTV.com (sidenote: MTV should be renamed to Music Internet, because unless it's 2AM I never see music videos on that channel). I don't know if it's because of the two cups of coffee I just downed, but I am completely mesmerized by this video. The photography is just incredible; the shallow depth-of-field and post-processing make my heart sing.

The last time I saw Anberlin,…

I love this band...

Set Your Goals have just released their video for Gaia Bleeds (Make Way For Man), and it can currently be watched on MTV.com.

This is definitely an interesting way to educate the public on how wasteful Americans are. As the title says, Make Way For Man.

Click here to watch it on MTV.com!

What do you think of SYG's new video? Do you think it will encourage people to be mindful of their impact on the world/environment? Let us know in the comments or on Facebook!

Also, the guys will be playing tomorrow night at El Corazon with Sing it Loud, Every Avenue, and The Secret Handshake. We will be there (possibly doing a followup interview with TFT) so you should proooobably come down and hang out. It'll be a good time.

Lady Gaga releases video for ALEJANDRO

If you haven't already, watch Lady Gaga's video for Alejandro on YouTube now.

This is a LOT different from Telephone--and not in a good way. There's a little too much sex and not enough substance. So, in an attempt to find a deeper meaning to this video (as I was completely stumped), I turned to the great ol' Internet for answers. And what did I get? Diddly squat.

A couple of interns at BlackMag speculate that the video is about her leaving (or stomping on) the Catholic church, but they don't really go…

New Still Life Still video

The dudes of Still Life Still have released a video for one of their (only) nonsexual songs, and it's on AOL video now.

Be sure to read our review of Still Life Still's album Girls Come Too (see what I mean about sexual?).

Also, the band will be playing a show at Chop Suey THIS SUNDAY (Valentine's Day) with Wild Beasts, who I have not heard, but their name is pretty sweet so I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt on this one.

New The Almost video posted!!!

If you enjoy The Almost as much as I do, then you're in LUCK! Today they released their video for "Hands" (my favorite song on their new record Monster Monster). It's another one of those videos with a message... and WHAT is Aaron doing with his hands in this picture? (want to see the video? click the hands. now. or else.)

"The perfect late Valentine's gift for the one you loathe."

Los Campesinos! have released the video for the title track off their upcoming album, Romance is Boring. To be quite honest, I will never understand the logic behind bands not wanting to appear in their own music videos, but I am not really surprised that Los Campesinos! opted out in this case.

Regardless of the band's presence, this video is thoroughly entertaining and definitely worth a watch. Check it out on Vimeo:

Romance is Boring is currently streaming in its entirety on Myspace. I highly recommend it to those who have not listened…

Coming soon!

This video is going to be so sick, I can vouch for it. Got a sneak peak a few days ago and it shows some serious craftsmanship.

Keep your eyes pealed and your ears open! Always!

I posted about this on our Facebook fan page (become a fan if you haven't already!), but I thought it needed a little more local coverage.

SINGLE LADIES anyone?

Do you LOVE Single Ladies by Beyonce?! Well... Me either. HOWEVER, Pompaloose has managed to create a version of the song that is actually enjoyable.

The Almost new Video... TELL ME YOUR THOUGHTS!

The Almost has officially released their video for their new single "Lonely Wheel". As you know, Aaron Gillespie is my musical husband, so he's pretty darn sexy in this. I think you should take a look-see.

The song is all about how we have this life we don't want to live and we need change. I think this is a pretty big topic, religious or not, to talk about with The Almost sort of fans. Not that the fans are all emo kids wanting to jump off the nearest bridge or drown in the nearest lake, but…

Me VS. Myself video shoot!

I'd have to say my weekend was definitely eventful.

Ryan Kam shot a music video for Me VS. Myself and it's going to be SICK.

I filmed some behind the scenes stuff with his iPhone so I'll be posting that within the week.

Here are a couple of photos taken by Ciera Walters from the shoot:

NeverShoutNever new video!

I've always liked NeverShoutNever (name is an alias for Christofer Ingle). It's not just his cute face, acoustic style, and attractive red hair. He's got talent. That's it. Watch his new video and tell US what you think. It's not like a regular booty-poppin, name droppin', artsy silly pants video... it's a video that entertains & makes you think.

Cavalier's "Honeybees" Up Now!

Ryan Kam directed a video for "Honeybees" -- a Cavalier hit -- not too long ago. It's sick. Ryan is the man, and this song is so catchy. Click below to watch it.

Hunters Video Shoot Update!

Hi all. I've had a very long weekend shooting my music video for "Lover At Best." It sounds way official saying that, but in no means am I trying to be official sounding.

The video is being directed by Ryan Kam and it should be incredible. Way better than Hunters music even deserves. But it's a good time for us both. There will be some surprise faces in the video in which you're all probably familiar with. A friend of mine agreed to "co-star" in it and I thank him dearly for doing so.

Check out…
